Frequently Asked Questions

Can I listen offline? Yes. Everything you stream is kept on your device, so a track you’ve heard plays again with no connection. Tracks that are available offline are marked in the rundown. You can also keep specific items offline from Settings.

How much storage does Escuchar use? That depends on how much you’ve listened to. Settings shows the total cache size and lets you clear it at any time. Items you’ve chosen to keep offline stay until you remove them.

Why is a track marked as unplayable? Escuchar keeps every track the playlist lists, even one it can’t play, and tells you why. Common reasons: the audio file is missing at the source, or a download didn’t match its published checksum and was discarded rather than played.

Where is the script? If a track has a transcript, the Script view appears on Now Playing on iPhone, or as a column beside the player on iPad and Mac. Tracks without a transcript don’t show it.

Can I skip the bumpers? Yes. Turn on Skip bumpers in the transport. Bumpers stay in the rundown, dimmed, and playback moves past them.

Does Escuchar work with AirPods, the Lock Screen, and AirPlay? Yes. Play, pause, skip, and scrubbing work from the Lock Screen, Control Center, AirPods, and the Mac’s menu bar. The route picker sends audio to AirPlay devices.
